I realize that many of my neighbors decided to follow the leader, not once, but now twice, and elect this craziness. All that I ask is that those of you who are NOT very wealthy, and are working stiffs like this writer, to look closely at this Trump Train. While you are doing it, please look at what Trump’s cabinet and elected followers are doing to screw up your lives. Because, when push comes to shove, ALL we who work for THE MAN, or have no job at all, become swimmers in those same swamp infested waters.

You who voted and continue to support that mindset, ask yourself what will happen to you or a loved one when someday (maybe very soon) you will need to go into a nursing home or assisted living. When the guys you voted for cut the hell out of Medicaid funding, who will care about you? When working stiff and poor children need food sustenance and there is no money anymore to help feed them. When the weak and sickly elderly (maybe you) rely on Meals On Wheels for that one daily nutritious meal, and the volunteers cannot bring any. When the rural health clinic or hospital has no more funding support to handle the care you always relied on . When working stiffs need a labor board to counteract whatever the boss cuts from them.

Meanwhile, back at the swamp, MAGA neighbors please look at what the Trump gang has in store for you. Why do you think his crew is Gung Ho to cut funding as coarsely and powerfully as they are. NO, it is not about simply cutting waste and fraud. Waste and fraud can be dealt with as they should: Oversight and regular audits (Unlike how there is never any audits on our obscene military spending, which will ultimately bankrupt us). MAGA NEIGHBORS, they are doing all this to justify more tax cuts for the Super Rich, the mega millionaires and billionaires (many of whom are now in Trump’s government). Oh fine, you will all get perhaps $500 or $1000 a year in tax savings while the aforementioned will get $HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS. As one MAGA friend told me: ” Well, the rich deserve a tax break, as they pay most of the taxes.” I told him to go to a gas pump and look at how much tax money comes out for each gallon sold. Then factor that by the hundreds of millions of us working stiffs who gas up each day, compared to the handful of Super Rich who do. I asked him how many Super Rich buy consumer items compared to us stiffs. Yet, the sales tax can be as high as 10% in some states.

As a true Socialist I always have been contrary to the Democratic Party and its sellouts. Yet, what this current regime is dishing out is plain and simple feudalism. They really want a new Gilded Age MAGA neighbors. Check out the history of the last Gilded Age (late 1870s to late 1890s) and see what we all are in store for. I guess the MAGA handle should fit, but just change one word from ‘Great’ to ‘Gilded’.
