Imagine how all those wonderful (yeah, right) good and devout MAGA Christians just love Jesus. After all, they say he is the Son of God (or is it lately their new King Donald?). One wonders if any of these folks ever took the time to read The Sermon on the Mount from the New Testament? Their ‘one of two sons of God’ stood above the crowds delivering his impassioned speech:
- Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
- Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
- Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
- Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
- Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
The man who this new MAGA Public Relations bureau portends to be ‘Anointed by God to save America’ has, since his Trump 2.0 election, began shredding our Constitution. He reveals his extreme narcissistic personality disorder by cutting important government funding, laying off tens of thousands of federal workers (many career working stiffs), blowing up speedboats illegally and immorally, using the face covered ICE thugs as his very own Storm Troopers , allowing low income kids to go hungry, seeing to it that Medicaid is damaged thus leaving millions nationwide with no local clinics or hospitals, allowing insurance companies to double and triple healthcare premiums, and focusing on demolishing part of the White House to have fancy mega ballrooms with gold trimmed bathrooms… need I go on?
To this conman Godman and his ‘speaking in tongues’ MAGA Christian faithful who want to save the ‘Babies in the womb’: What about all those newborn babies and babies in the Palestinian wombs destroyed through Israeli genocide? Read the Sermon on the Mount and then ask Jesus to come redeem you!!
