Amazing how truth can stand up to time, sometimes in such a sad way. Check out the 1970 Black Sabbath song ‘ War Pigs’ and compare it to today’s insanity:

Look at what my country, that I do love, has been doing since this song was written. In 1970 the Vietnam ( Phony) War was at its height, with tens of thousands of dead US soldiers and Go, as the GIs called it, with the effects of Agent Orange. He suffered for decades until his demise at 81 two years ago. Fast forward from the Nam to what my country’s War Pigs did in Afghanistan and Iraq, destroying the population and infrastructure of both countries. After hundreds of thousands of civilians were dead, and our taxpayer monies spent on donor influenced contracts to rebuild what we destroyed, what good did it all accomplish? Well, for the Super Rich who benefit from military spending sprees all those wars proved successful. This writer had a sign that I held each week after we invaded and occupied Iraq: Bush! Send Your Daughters to Iraq… Hypocrite! Meanwhile, the War Pigs cared not who was elected president, as Obama, then Trump, then Biden and now Trump 2 just gave the approval for more and more of our working stiff tax money flushed down that toilet!
Now we have Israel behaving ( with US approval and influence) just as we had been operating in those hornet’s nests. I guess even if we drugged them with sodium pentothal, would Israel’s fascist leaders see any comparison, while viewing Schindlers List, between their treatment of Gaza and the Germans towards the Krakow ghetto? Instead, the War Pigs of Israel become blind to the past. Remember how, in the late 60s and early 70s, the fools who supported our disgrace in Vietnam laid into us protestors with ‘ America, love it or leave it!’? We all became Viet Cong supporters dare we stand against Uncle War Pig? Thus, the Israeli and American War Pigs call we who protest the utter destruction of life and property in Gaza as being Anti Semites.
Let’s have every schoolchild in middle school history class listen (and then read the lyrics) to that Black Sabbath song.
