Just watched the late Rob Reiner’s 1996 film Ghosts of Mississippi for the umpteenth time. The movie, based on a true story, covers the 1989 retrial of the killer of civil rights leader Medgar Evers, one Byron De La Beckwith. The assassination of Evers by Beckwith happened on June 12th, 1963, two days after JFK’s speech to the nation on civil rights. The far right wing white supremacist movement just couldn’t wait too long to ‘Even the score’, as the local police, prosecutors, judge, and jury all did their part. Two mistrials made sure that loudmouth bigot and cowardly ‘Shootem in the back’ Beckwith was free and clear. It took 29 years for justice to finally appear in Mississippi (“Let justice prevail though the heavens fall.”)
Do we need wait that long for justice to prevail in the brutal killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis? Ms. Good was gunned down at point blank range by an ICE agent AKA Thug as she attempted to drive her car away from he and his fellow Storm Troopers. She had the right to park her car where it was, but to them she was some ‘Domestic Terrorist’ labeled from the top of the Fascist food chain by the Orange Dictator and his sycophants. Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse and peaceful protestor, committed the crime of reaching down to help a female fellow activist, so he had to be gunned down by two ICE Thugs… in the back with 10 shots as he lay face down on the cold ground. He too was immediately labeled a ‘Domestic Terrorist’ by the aforementioned regime. Cause folks, that is what this is all about, a tyrannical regime in our BANANA REPUBLIC AMERIKA!! By the way, Pretti was carrying a gun, legally allowed and nestled safe inside his person. The regime just used that as an excuse, even though they continually announce how everyone has the right to own and carry one.
For God sakes, when will those MAGA faithful, who think this Orange Dictator is their ‘Anointed One’, see beyond the lies and the con? Ask Marjorie Taylor Green, once his most dedicated follower, what she now feels about all of this. Time to wake up MAGA and realize that your country is becoming Germany circa 1930s, and not the land of ‘Freedom and Liberty’.

Philip, You ask when “the MAGA faithful will wake up and see the lie and the con.” The short answer for most of them is NEVER. They are totally committed to him for better or worse because he is their bulwark against the non-whites flooding the country and the radical, godless left whom they despise. There is no red line or bottom for them regarding his depravity and treasonous behavior as disturbing as that is. This is a cult, and cultists are in it to the bitter end.
