It wasn’t the pandemic  or the slew of hurricanes that has been killing my country. No sir. The ever growing monster called Empire has been devouring our republic for decades. The Super Rich who have always controlled this scam and labeled it democracy laugh every November. Why? Well, before every election the nearly 50% of eligible voters who decide to just ‘ Pass it’ may have known more than us.  However, this writer has to be candid at this time. It’s not what they like to call a democracy which is in terrible jeopardy. No, voting to keep Trump and his ‘ Off the radar’ party out of office is basically to save us from  a MAGA World driven fascist state. The Neo Cons who now run the Democratic Party may have a lot to be ashamed of, with their foreign policy decisions and laissez faire towards the corporate empire. Honestly, as off script as the Democrats may be, this right wing Neo Fascist Trump led Republican Party Is dangerous to our nation’s welfare.

During this utter political mess the wealth gap has increased every damn day! They like to write about the excesses of the Gilded Age, which flourished ( for but a few) from the late 1870s to late 1890s. This current era trumps that, with no pun intended! It’s not even the so called 1 %. Actually it is really a fraction of the 1% of our fellow citizens that live literally like the kings and queens of the Middle Ages! Yet, the majority of those who belong to Trump’s MAGA WORLD are usually working stiffs like me. Once you factor in either the anti abortion right wing Christians, or those who hate gays and transgender folks, or the majority ( Sadly) who believe in white supremacy , their numbers add up. Meanwhile, if you sit and dialogue with some MAGA folks, and get them to be candid, you find that many have been screwed by corporate Amerika. Yet, they follow a wealthy conman who sells them how he is just like them. Trump hides behind this delusion about a Deep State of which he has always served, AKA The Military Industrial Empire.

Here’s what needs to be done. This far right wing MAGA  movement has to be defeated at the polls and then in the court of public opinion.  Once that occurs the victorious Democratic Party must be constantly hounded from us working stiffs to begin ‘ Doing the right thing’ to stop phony wars and interventions, and cut the crazy military spending and build up our safety net. The Super Rich need be taxed with something like my Farruggio 50% Flat Surtax ( no deductions at all) on incomes over $ one million per year… and leave the rest of us to pay at the current rates. With the mega billions of dollars coming into our treasury, along with rational cuts in the aforementioned military spending ( like, duh, closing hundreds of our unnecessary foreign bases), Amerika may begin to feel like America again!
